Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands
- Monitor production process to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
- Manage human and material resources to meet production targets and quality standards
- Ensure that production standards and procedures are followed
- Collaborate with other departments including sales, engineering, and procurement to improve processes and minimize costs
- Identify and address production issues to prevent delays or errors
- Oversee inventory management to ensure adequate supplies for production needs
- Oversee maintenance, repair, and replacement of plant equipment and infrastructure to reduce downtime and maximize productivity
- Implement and oversee safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow
- Coordinate and manage new fab layout; oversee installation of new equipment
- Ensure that design fixtures and templates are ready before project commencement
- Ensure product and process quality meets required specifications
- Support and lead continuous improvement, problem solving, and process improvement activities
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
- Undertake special projects as required
Qualifications
- Required: U.S. citizenship
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field
or equivalent experience in semiconductor manufacturing
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience in production management
- Thorough knowledge of production processes and procedures
