NHanced Semiconductors Announces Acquisition of Development Facility
Fab to be used for process development, prototyping
5 Oct 2017, Naperville, Illinois – NHanced Semiconductors today announced the acquisition of a former Novati Technologies fabrication facility in North Carolina. NHanced specializes in the advanced packaging of silicon chips and electronic systems, providing design, integration, and production capabilities. The company will use the North Carolina facility to develop new 2.5D and 3D integration technologies and build customer prototypes.

The 25,000 square foot fabrication facility is located in Morrisville, NC. Its equipment is ideal for rapid prototyping, with a focus on 2.5D and 3D integrated circuit assembly. Current equipment can perform surface prep, bonding, thinning, and pick-place on multiple wafer sizes (100mm to 200mm).
