Responsibilities
- Design and oversee facility expansion, layout, various systems, and quality controls
- Coordinate and manage new tool installations
- Assign and schedule work tasks with facility technicians in a team-oriented environment
- Perform initial evaluations of building systems
- Analyze project costs and prepare budgets
- Consult with contractors and vendors on project design, compliance with specifications, and questions or problems during implementation
- Inspect finished projects for compliance with specifications and design
- Respond to repair requests; prioritize emergency repairs
- Lead facility system optimization, defect elimination, and root cause analysis investigations
- Coordinate and assist as necessary in repairs of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
- Evaluate and improve systems and facility infrastructure for operational efficiency
- Plan and coordinate infrastructure and equipment maintenance
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards
- Prepare reports and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Required: US citizenship or permanent residency
- Required: BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering
or equivalent education
or equivalent experience in facility engineering in a semiconductor fab
- Preferred:
- 3 years’ experience as a Facility Engineer
- Experience with AutoCAD, SAP, and MS Office
- Knowledge of building processes and construction principles
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes
- Extensive mechanical and electrical experience

- Wear cleanroom attire, including protective eye gear
- Sit, bend, stand, walk, 8 hours per day
- Lift 35 lbs.
