CAREERSFacilities Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee facility expansion, layout, various systems, and quality controls
  • Assign and schedule work tasks with facility technicians in a team-oriented environment
  • Perform initial evaluations of building systems
  • Analyze project costs and prepare budgets
  • Consult with contractors and vendors on project design, compliance with specifications, and questions or problems during implementation
  • Inspect finished projects for compliance with specifications and design
  • Respond to repair requests; prioritize emergency repairs
  • Lead facility system optimization, defect elimination, and root cause analysis investigations
  • Coordinate and assist as necessary in repairs of basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
  • Evaluate and improve systems and facility infrastructure for operational efficiency
  • Plan and coordinate infrastructure and equipment maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards
  • Prepare reports and compliance documentation

Qualifications

  • Required: US citizenship or permanent residency
  • Required: BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering
               or equivalent education
                or equivalent experience in facility engineering in a semiconductor fab
  • Preferred: 3 years’ experience as a Facility Engineer
  • Required:
    • Experience with AutoCAD, SAP, and MS Office
    • Knowledge of building processes and construction principles
    • Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes
    • Extensive mechanical and electrical experience

Physical Requirements/Restrictions

Must be able to:

  • Wear cleanroom attire, including protective eye gear
  • Sit, bend, stand, walk, 8 hours per day
  • Lift 35 lbs.

Other Requirements

  • Must be able to work flexible hours based on company needs
